thank you for the reassurance. the ONLY reason to make the front lower is to make it look better!
i agree that this is not a good reason, especially because it will be very expensive to fix, and the car is very nice to drive at the moment. the roads in australia vary in quality, from bad to good, but many, many bumps on most roads.
i think i will do as you suggest, and wait 6 to 12 months and see if the front springs compress a bit. i do not want the suspension to be any stiffer.
